A colourful programme with music on the themes of midsummer and the magic of the forest with Julia Thornton, soprano and Charles Matthews, piano, together with Charlotte Newstead, soprano; Christopher Neale, bass; Rafael Montero, tenor; and pianists John Sloboda, Allan Schiller and Helen Reid.

Featuring the UK premiere of The Forest Speaks to Me composed by Jean-Christophe Rosaz to words by Indian Chief Dan George, and works by Rimsky-Korsakov, Rachmaninoff and others.
